Wedding Chapel, Homewood Suites, Hartford, CT
The thing I always loved about weddings is details. Beautiful tiny things that make each wedding special, little touches that sparkle and shine radiating the unique characther of the newly weds. It was very challenging to create design concepts for a space serving this special purpose.
Solution 1
White is usually connected to purity, light and faith. In some cultures, it symbolizes new beginnings. It is very widely used and connected to weddings. Therefore, in the first solution, space is freed from all unnecessary details and dominated by pearl white reflecting on all surrounding surfaces: the walls and the arched ceiling. Special attention was devoted to lighting in the sun spectrum adding a notion of warmth to all the sparkling whites.
Solution 2
The second solution is inspired by golden color, usually connected to the divine, to wealth and to prosperity. We wanted to create a space with a dash of luxury, ideal for themed weddings where imagination is the only limitation. The lighting is particularly well implemented, ready to adjust to any theme.
