Villa Franka, Bale, Croatia
The idea came to life as the combination of modern spirit and curious architectural solutions and a touch of cozy traditional details giving the house a homey and inviting feel.
The owners wanted it to be memorable and different, they wanted it to stand out between traditional stone houses dominating the Istria region. The house was built with financial contributions of EU funds for rural tourism development. The house measures 110 square meters and offers complete privacy due to its position facing southeast towards an ungraded area of land. It’s a two-story unit, with ground and upper floor, three bedrooms, three bathrooms, and a kitchen, dining room and living room connected into a united living area with direct access to an outdoor pool. We approach each project with an idea that is well thought through before we start making it a reality. This was our approach in this project as well – the space ended up being dominated by light colors with occasional accents in details creating a sense of elegance and simplicity with a contemporary twist.
